Steve joined GWT in 2019. Steve manages projects establishing measurable project milestones that are clear, accountable, and seek to deliver a high-quality product to the client on-time and on-budget. Other tasks of the job include risk management, monthly progress billing, safety, labor performance reporting, quantity survey and takeoff of building materials, review and price changes to contract scopes of work, and the proper execution of contract documents overall.
Steve is an AWCI certified project manager and holds a degree in Economics from San Jose State University. Additionally, Steve has completed the Collaborative Leadership: Building Job-site Leaders training series with the UBCJA and holds an OSHA-10 certification. His project specialties include but are not limited to: multi-family, senior housing, and commercial. In conjunction with his project management duties, Steve estimates and prepares bids for small and medium-sized projects ranging from new construction to tenant improvement.
When asked what his proudest moment has been with GWT, he believes it has been the fostering of a strong, new, working relationship with a prominent general contractor who is new to Northern California. This has set the stage to be a preferred framing and drywall subcontractor that is confidently and consistently relied on to meet the needs of their new projects, and, in-turn, expanding GWT’s book of business.
